ABSTRACT
Well, in education, sometimes we do these same things. We attempt to hide behind rules. I was as guilty as anyone. I remember my first year as a seventh grade math teacher. I did not want to have to mess with students turning in assignments late, leaving class to go to their lockers, and so forth. And, for my own personal convenience, I did not want to have to grade late papers anyhow.
