Yes, it is safe to say that no form of entertainment has caught-on so rapidly, and obtained such a firm hold on the amusement-seeking public, as the cinematograph. Only a few years ago it was of the nature of a scientific experiment appealing to a few; now the masses crowd the picture shows nightly, and the classes come from far and near to visit them in the afternoons.
