In the two-stage model of youth leadership, Stage 1 is concerned with the study of great leaders and the office of leadership, the psychology of followship, self-discovery and moral reasoning, and the component skills of leadership. On the other hand, Stage 2 is concerned with the experience of leadership in authentic situations (Figure 2.1).
