ABSTRACT

Dioptical laser scanning does just that and automatically transfers those letters on to acid-free paper in a printed book form of appropriate length without even the necessity of opening the book. Thus the texts can be easily reassembled from the loose letters. The envelopes are stored in a simple alphabetical sequence in the books catalog, as we call it, where they are conveniently available for use as requested. In fact initial tests demonstrate a marked decrease in the use of complicated online public access catalogs as users find it much easier to go directly to the books catalog to locate the item they are looking for. The child unemployment problem was on the verge of being forever solved as thousands of small people were required. Small children proved to be as unsatisfactory as computers.
