ABSTRACT
76Different types of legal research techniques can be used at the reference desk with the goal of assisting the patron in learning research skills while helping alleviate reference desk congestion. Guidelines are provided to help the librarian decide which type of instruction to use at the reference desk based on time available and staffing constraints in the library.
