ABSTRACT
Humor was a central ingredient in author and Maureen initial attraction to each other. It is a compelling attraction and one that has withstood the test of time. She is a gifted jokester with a great repertoire of jokes and perfect timing in telling them. While Maureen's humor is often very directed and focused, author's is often unexpected and accidental. They don't share many hobbies, per se, have very few mutual projects or endeavors, and they really don't have that many shared recreational activities. Sometimes, in the morning, they follow each other around the house while one is getting dressed and the other is drinking coffee, telling stories, exchanging gossip, complaining bitterly about the weather, planning how they spend our lottery winnings. The author thinks Maureen and they are simply blessed with a passionate connection that's been present since our first days together.
