ABSTRACT

This chapter explores real-life questions and issues that lesbians have about dating, sex, love, and relationship longevity. It analyses the relationship between Linda, her lesbian partner J. Jealousy is about the most intense human emotion they have ever experienced. Its complex made up of a number of different emotions combined in a highly combustible way. It's confusing. She doesn't know whether you're having keen intuition or delusional paranoia. If this were a heterosexual couples, we'd have plenty to say on the subject, we are not that, she think it would be pretty dang impossible for you not to feel some degree of jealousy under the circumstances. Maybe she's afraid that the jealousy she senses in you will creep into relationships with other friends. May be she feels there may be something deeper in your jealousy prior loss or abandonment issues which could be undermining or modifying your perceptions.
