ABSTRACT

This book provides schools with a practical framework for reviewing, developing and implementing a whole-school behaviour policy – in less time than if the school had started from scratch. At the same time, the resulting policy should be in full accordance with the ethos of the establishment and the school development plan, and compatible with the OFSTED inspection evaluation criteria. It can be used by secondary, primary, upper, middle, first, nursery and special schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). It will also be useful to those working in children’s homes and centres and other residential provision for children.
