ABSTRACT
The full battery of tests described in Chapter XVII (excluding Abstraction and creativity) was given to a carefully chosen group of fifty 10 1/2–11 year Jamaican boys in 1963. Representative groups often were taken in each of five schools:
better class urban,
poorer class urban,
country market town,
sugar estate,
isolated rural small-holding.
