ABSTRACT
Numerous trade organizations have been formed to foster international trade, to protect the rights of member countries and/or to settle trade disputes. Membership in these organizations fluctuates from time to time, as countries find it advantageous to join or leave an organization. The following are representative of the many, and more prominent, international trade organizations.
