ABSTRACT
This chapter contains case studies of the position of Citizenship Education (CE) in the nine participating nations. These position papers were starting points for the research. Ideas and practices exist in CE, Civic Education or Civics in all nine nations and any recommendations from the CEPS project have to build onto these practices. The ideas put forward in each of the studies are in no way official statements but represent personal perspectives.
