ABSTRACT
The Exploratorium in San Francisco is a museum of science, art, and human perception. As an institution the museum believes that both artists and scientists provide insight into understanding the world and its mandate ensures that art and science equally inform the development of exhibits, programs, and teaching strategies. All the exhibits are designed, prototyped, tested, and built on site with the intention of providing direct access to scientific phenomena through interactive engagement.
