Introduction

Contemporary themes developed in a diverse set of substantive contexts have important implications for the study of class. However, in a literature premised on conventional sub-disciplinary and disciplinary models, this relevance is not always apparent. Class, Politics and the Economy sustains its analysis by integrating what have hitherto all too frequently been distinct fields of enquiry.
