ABSTRACT
This final chapter draws together the main themes that have been explored and discussed within the previous chapters. It presents examples of how ‘play’ can be used in a range of different settings by a variety of healthcare practitioners. The chapter concludes with a look to the future and how the use of play and recreational activities and resources may be extended to enhance the provision of services beyond the children and young people’s sector.
