Introduction

This study explores the global operations and sister groups of the Uyghur diaspora umbrella organization, the World Uyghur Congress (WUC). We will examine the networks of the WUC and the coalitions it has formed, as well as the strategies the organization pursues to raise public awareness about Uyghur issues around the globe. This work also gauges its impact on public opinion and policy-makers in the world's democracies.
