ABSTRACT
disputes frequently arise over methods of wage payment, and a thorough knowledge of these methods, their suitability for different kinds of work, and the difficulties which arise in their application is necessary for all who deal with industrial relations. Methods of payment must be distinguished from speed of work and from the amount of workers' earnings, though they are all closely related.
