The test will inform a gate-keeping decision: deciding who should be allowed to come to Denmark to live with their spouse or partner. The information seems to be intended mainly for those who might need to take the test (people who want to live in Denmark) or their advisers. It provides information on the test content, but does not really explain the rationale for the test or for the level of performance required. It does not explain, for example, why citizens of certain countries are not required to take the test.
