ABSTRACT

The mission of the school will be determined through the Basic Education Law of the Federal Republic of Germany and the constitution of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. educate students to respect the worth of people; to think for themselves but, at the same time, remain responsive to the rights of others to think differently; to recognize and hold ethical values; to respect religious differences; to use their freedom in a responsible manner; and maintain an attitude of peace. prepare students to take political and social responsibility defined by the fundamental principles of a free democracy. impart knowledge, competencies, and proficiencies with the aim of allowing the free unfolding of the personality and talents and to encourage pupils in self-responsible behavior and a willingness to achieve. qualify the pupils with the capacity to be aware, to judge, and to make decisions in an information society of new media and new communication techniques.
