ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book discusses the reciprocal roles of entrepreneurial business success and development of entrepreneurial education programs, and takes an international look at the ecosystem, introduced innovation, and dynamic trends. It explores the underlying conception is that there is no ‘one size fits all’ in educating entrepreneurs; the accompanying case study is of a venture builder, located in Hangzhou, China. The uniqueness of entrePrism in supporting entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on immigrants in the Quebec business ecosystem, fortifies the conceptual premise of a shared economy, by embracing diversity and inclusion. The book concludes with the case of an internationally based accelerator program, opened in Beijing with the support of the Israeli government, and introduces and discusses enabling systems and smart mapping.
