ABSTRACT

In their quest for the ultimate way to teach, entrepreneurs, researchers and practitioners are confronted with the what, why and how of EE. The ‘what’ is content-based, urging for the development of modern, inventive and agile content from various disciplines; the ‘why’ delves into an all-inclusive perspective of the value of EE to the learner, as well as to educators, investors, innovators, and government; and the ‘how’ challenges the existing methods with digitized, gamification-driven, customized methods that have immediate and relevant deliveries. The case study on NOVUS, an academic accelerator that is constantly reinventing itself to respond to the challenges of relevance, practicality and, most importantly, a match to the new generation’s learning styles and expectations, concludes this chapter by introducing the management’s and ecosystem’s viewpoints.
