ABSTRACT
Unidimensional IRT models are appropriate when a test measures a single construct and when one latent trait underlies a test-taker's ability to adequately respond to the set of items in a test. All the models in this chapter assume uni dimensionality, and the logistic item response function (IRF) form without the scaling constant, D = 1.7, is used.
