ABSTRACT
This chapter unpacks the fundamentals of observational and human-centered approaches to innovative entrepreneurial work, approaches that include lean startup and design thinking. It identifies the gaps between knowing what to do and knowing how to do it. It highlights the distinctions between analysis and interpretation.
