ABSTRACT

Bridging the gap between research and practice is a core interest of many scholars. This chapter suggests one way to import scholarly ways of approaching entrepreneurship into the accelerator curriculum in a meaningful way. By adapting Stokoe’s conversation analytic role-play method (2011, 2014) into entrepreneurial learning materials, educators can help entrepreneurs reflect on their interactions. Much as a video of a golf swing can raise awareness of a player’s technique, reflecting on language may help entrepreneur’s build their interactional prowess.
