ABSTRACT

Even synergistic life issues and their Dream Sociograms contain elements of opposition, in that agreement on an axis is still a distribution among most and least preferred elements. Patterns in which elements are universally rejected are very rare, if they exist at all. As pointed out earlier, this is due to the fact that rejected characters themselves generally seem to prefer something or someone. There is a distinction to be noted between most neutral choices, which are made out of lack of empathy by the character for a particular intrasocial group element and a totally non-attached preference, which may conceivably co-exist with any of the seven preference alternatives. A Dream Sociogram pattern in which the elements on the element axes are essentially positive but in which the Acceptance axis shows mixed positive and negative scores indicates a superficial harmony in the functioning of personality but fundamental self-criticism. This type of character preference pattern generates thesis Dream Sociogram configurations.
