ABSTRACT

This chapter examines some ''bad men'' who act on leaders' or club orders to kill, maim, and injure. Paradoxically, extreme violence for club purposes is exalted and rewarded in Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs (MC)/Gangs who reward members with special symbols and patches for violence, especially sanctioned violence against rivals or law enforcement officers. Bobby Nauss is a well-rounded criminal—a thief, drug trafficker, rapist, and sexual homicide serial killer. Malcolm Rewa, a New Zealand outlaw biker—sergeant at arms—was a ''bad man'' among bad men. In the 1990s, the Florida Warlocks MC aligned themselves with the Outlaws' hated rivals, the Hells Angels, and began selling drugs in territory claimed by the Outlaws. The Devils Diciples MC national president, national vice-president, and national warlord were convicted of participating in violent acts in aid of racketeering, methamphetamine production and trafficking, illegal firearms offenses, obstruction of justice, illegal gambling, and other federal offenses.
