ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the rarely discussed or taught technique of using two mentors to separate the reasons and methods a protagonist might consider to accomplish his or her outer journey goals. Sometimes these mentors work together; at other times they work against one another. This chapter breaks down the three ways in which a writer can design dual mentors.
