ABSTRACT

The love interest often is the most poorly written and ill-conceived of all characters in any script (except in romance movies) while being the most important in purpose. This chapter explains exactly the purpose of this character in the film, which is not simply to add romance. This chapter also explains how this character’s goal can be accomplished without romance or sex, as other films have done in the past. Equally important is the yang to your love interest’s yin; the character known as the lust interest.
