ABSTRACT

We frequently have enough data, education, or time to make a tough call, but we still don’t want to. During times of self-made crises, like a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deal, we know we can’t proceed as if it were business as usual, nor should we expect this to be the time for miracles. Yet that’s what happens. We expect miracles from ourselves—and others (many others) expect them from us too.
