ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book aims to provide a holistic analysis of a wide range of influential factors in philosophical, historical, cultural, social, political and economic domains, that form and shape different models of internationalization of entrepreneurship in different parts of the world. It provides an endeavour to enrich understandings of international business and internationalization of entrepreneurship theories and practices in the East and West. The book highlights a comparison between past and present international entrepreneurship as well as cross-country examples with cultural, regional and generational differences. It seeks to develop key questions related to the causes, patterns/models and processes of the internationalization of entrepreneurship. The book presents different definitions of ‘entrepreneurship’ and ‘entrepreneurs’. It focuses on the trend of immigration in relation to entrepreneurial activities in Australia.
