ABSTRACT
Each image must first be evaluated and a unique processing plan developed. The objective may be broken down into four general steps: adjust RAW image in Camera Raw to best visualize detail in shadow, highlight, and midtone areas of the impression, prepare and size for AFIS, minimize distracting background patterns, and last but not least, adjust for brightness and contrast.
