ABSTRACT
If the voice coil is the heart of the loudspeaker drive unit, the motor unit is the structure or skeleton that holds everything together. Like the voice coil, get it wrong and no amount of subsequent crossover tweaking will correct it. Get it right first time and things will go easier.
