ABSTRACT
We discuss how to produce mechanical rather than acoustical simulations, since the efficiency and coupling are usually sufficiently low that such simplification will make little difference. This chapter also starts the process of developing a mechanical model. Programs like ABEC can directly accept such mechanical data or calculations to produce the acoustic results that we’ll need later.
