Dark Alley Media’s gay porn video The Real Pump N Dumps of New York City mixes together scenes of “raw” condomless sex with intimate black-and-white interviews of the bottoming models during which the latter open up about their desires, fantasies, and what generally floats their boat when it comes to sex. According to the blurb on the back of its DVD cover, the video promises to give its viewers “an uninhibited look into the dark minds of our cum-thirsty bottoms, waiting with their eager holes open wide and twitching for seed”. The remaining scenes of the video share the same form and aesthetic, with heavily saturated colour images of New York City set to swinging instrumental music giving way to intimate confessional-style interviews filmed in black-and-white, followed by formulaic intense scenes of bareback sex again shot in colour.
