ABSTRACT
This chapter covers fitting Skirts. We start with labeled drawings of a skirt and continue to the body measurements needed to pull or purchase a skirt, how to measure the garment to check against actor measurements before the actor tries the garment on, and the standards for how a skirt should fit on the wearer, including the amount of ease needed for parts of the skirt. Each major step of the fitting is discussed in the directions, followed by the different options available whether fitting an existing garment or a mockup garment. Drawings show the major issues that may be present in a skirt while you are fitting it.
