ABSTRACT

This chapter covers fitting Bodices. We start with a drawing of a bodice with labels, labeled according to the measurement sheet presented in Chapter 2. We move on to how to measure an existing garment while comparing the garment measurements to actor measurements, including a discussion of the amount of wearing ease one should allow for in different areas of the garment. Each major step of the fitting is discussed in the directions, followed by the different options available whether fitting an existing garment or a mockup garment. Drawings show the major issues that may occur during a fitting appointment.
