ABSTRACT
How can research be used when it comes to real world problem of environmental conflict and cooperation? One way would be to use cases that are coded on qualitative criteria to situate emerging cases and provide examples. The body of existing cases can serve as a rough template for describing other approaches to environmental conflict and the events and factors of importance. It also gives insight into how others have approached similar issues.
