ABSTRACT

"Corpo-reality", as an expression of how humans as living beings are a part of nature is an often overlooked fact that provides one important starting point – as it does in providing the relation between humans and the world through the ingestion of environment in the form of food. The human need for sleep is a very direct biological implication of people's being living beings. Technological solutions for making activities such as media consumption be provided with fewer negative effects on the environment, more sustainably, likely could be developed, e.g. with ecological design, resource efficiency/efficacy, etc. Possibilities for exploration, for having pleasurable experiences, ate well provided by outdoors activities and quite capable of contributing to well-being. Interestingly, nature experience and outdoors activities are particularly effective in providing a positive contribution to rest/relaxation, but also to restoration, and even for cognitive functioning.
