Nouns – s-genitives and plurals

The s-genitive in Swedish is often the equivalent of the English ’s or s’ form of the noun, or the ‘of’ genitive:

killens mamma the boy’s mother

tjejernas pappa the girls’ dad

husets tak the roof of the house
