ABSTRACT
Hospital economics solve an economic issue that focuses on the hospital and create effects as optimally as possible for universal public health, either directly or indirectly through other institutions in the health care system. Health system in a country is a network that involves many parties that are interconnected to one another. In a comprehensive public health network, different organizations, each of which has contributed to the costs and benefits generated by public health, are involved. The institutions involved in a universal health care system includes: Schools, Mental health coaching institutions, Governments, Emergency medical services, Civilian groups, Home care, Association of physicians, Hospitals, Treatment/rehabilitation centers and Laboratories. Three main resources issues in hospitals are: Resource allocation issues, Resource management issues, and Generation resource issues. The chapter also presents an overview of key concepts discussed in this book.
