ABSTRACT

The following outline provides planners with a form of constitutional decision tree for use in addressing the types of problem-solving areas presented in Part III of this book. The outline is not intended to be exhaustive of all issues that must be considered in preparing regulations addressing the specific problem-solving areas discussed. Rather, its purpose is to provide planners with a concise summary of the constitutional considerations discussed in Part III, which can be used in consultation with their legal counsel to identify possible constitutional issues in proposed land use regulations.
