Any incident of aggression needs to be nipped in the bud to prevent escalation. If you see a fight brewing, it is best to intervene straight away; speak firmly to the combatants with something like, ‘what’s all this – let’s go sort it out now’, and remove them from an audience. If it seems safe, stand between them. If the fight has already started, follow the steps below.
