ABSTRACT
This behaviour encompasses excessive drinking and taking drugs, as well as other activities that endanger students themselves and/or others. Like the activities described earlier, this is either an attempt to feel differently or not caring what happens. As unsafe risk taking is often linked with mental health issues, drug and alcohol education needs to be part of an overall wellbeing approach in schools.
