‘Police. Ordinance No. 6 of 1894. An Ordinance relating to the Civil Police of the Gold Coast Colony’ (1894)

WHEREAS it is expedient to constitute the civil police of the Gold Coast Colony a body separate from the constabulary, and to make provision for their organisation, discipline, powers and duties;

Be it enacted by the Governor of the Gold Coast Colony, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:–

1. is Ordinance may be cited as “ e Police Ordinance, 1894.”
