‘An English Hosiery Factory in America’ (1885)

This article, ‘An English Hosiery Factory in America’, seems to have been originally published in a newspaper in 1885, and refers to a group of 120 operatives leaving Nottingham for Providence, Rhode Island. The operatives are actually importing their machinery from England.
