AS she drove away from the hall, leaving the enthusiastic cheerers behind her, and turned up a side street leading to her home, the actress passed a pedestrian, who turned and looked at the carriage as it went by. In a flash Karyl recognized the woman who had spoken at the meeting, Lois More, and with equal swiftness she called to her coachman to stop. The horses were drawn up to the pavement until the woman came nigh. Then Karyl sprang out and addressed her.
