ABSTRACT
Whilst Mrs. Williams was gone out for the purpose of putting her threat in practice, her husband, unwilling that his resolution should be subjected to the test of further debate, secured his passage on board a vessel which only waited a fair wind to depart; and resolved, if in the space that was likely to elapse before they could set sail, he happened to encounter Mr. Macklin, he would temporise till he could complete his escape.
