ABSTRACT
We will now return to the circumstances that occasioned Henry Beverley to visit Switzerland. The excellent character he brought with him from Winchester, as to the qualities of his head and heart, soon introduced him to notice in the University; and, while the brilliancy of his parts and his attention to his studies gained him the esteem of the graver part of the college his activity spirit, and conviviality, made him beloved by his cotemporaries. /
