When taking measurements, be sure the actor is wearing the correct undergarments. Different bras will alter the bust height, and girdles affect the bust, waist, and hip measurements. Many measurements are taken from the
waist. To find the natural waist, have the actor bend from side to side. Tie an elastic around the actor’s waist to give an accurate reference point.
