Introduction

In this introductory chapter, we offer a perspective on diversity-as-an-action of inclusion that must be enacted on college campuses by students, staff, faculty, and administrators. We compare the idea of diversity-as-an-action to the common view of diversity-as-an-adjective where demographics can be changing but no action is being taken to include.
