Victorian Indigenous rights legislation, environment and land management legislation and the management of water resources

Under land rights legislation, or with land transferred pursuant to a native title settlement agreement, ¹ there may be potential for Indigenous rights holders to be involved in managing the waters on that land. These would be similar to the rights of other land holders, such as by way of statutory entitlements. ²
